Munir Elelu is currently the Program Director of the PSN Foundation Project Team. He is a Pharmacist with over 4 decades of Pharmaceutical practice experience in both public and private sectors. Holds a Master of Public Health degree and capped with several local and international certified courses in Health Administration, Leadership and Management, Procurement and Supply Chain Management, and Health policy advocacy.
After over a decade of service in the Pharma Industry, where he rose to be District Sales Manager (North) with the then Upjohn Nig. Ltd, Munir joined the public service of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) and later retired as Director of Pharmaceutical Services, Hospitals Management Board, FCTA.
He is privileged to have participated in the review and development of several national health documents. A recipient of several honors and awards for his contribution to the development of pharmaceutical practice both in the private and public health landscape, as well as for leadership and mentorship for strides in health policy review, leading to special written commendations from the Federal Ministry of Health, Pharmacy Council of Nigeria, Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria (Abuja branch) and the Health and Human Services Secretariat of the FCT Administration.
