The Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) advocated, and in 2016 Amoxicillin DT and Zn-Lo-ORS were adopted as first-line treatment of childhood Pneumonia and Diarrhoea respectively in the Essential Medicines List (EML) and Nigeria Standard Treatment Guideline (NSTG).
